Relax and Reduce Stress
Sometimes easier said than done, relaxing our minds and bodies can have a very positive effect on our well-being. This can be accomplished through several different techniques. Yoga, meditation, rhythmic breathing, laughing more, listening to music, and even watching a favorite tv show can help to lower cortisol levels. All of these methods are simple to do and take very little time out of our day. The problem arises when we aren’t proactive in reducing our daily stress. Be kind to yourself and take a few minutes of self-care daily. It can go a long way.
